The village of El Tamaduste

El Tamaduste is a small seaside-village with ~ 300 inhabitants in the north/north-east of the Canary Island ‘El Hierro. Distance to the regional airport: ~ 2 km and to the port ‘Puerto de La Estaca’.~ 7 km

The bay is protected from the waves and allows for swimming in the sea.

In the village is a supermarket, a restaurant and a bar-restaurant.

Tamaduste

Once, El Tamaduste was a fishing village. Nowadays, it is a small bathing resort, where local people spend their weekends and vacations.

The small and pretty bay offers secure swimming in the crystal clear water of the Atlantic sea. A nice bathing place with a springboard is only 2 minutes walk from the apartments.

There is a nice pedestrian promenade along the bay.
